The gist: Put Saturday, Nov. 14, on the calendar. Lakeland Elementary School’s PTA Holiday Market is set for 1 to 4 p.m. at the IH Clubhouse, 4523 Canada Road.
The basics (per the Lakeland Elementary calendar):
- What: PTA Holiday Market
- When: Saturday, Nov. 14, 1 to 4 p.m.
- Where: I.H. Clubhouse Lakeland, 4523 Canada Road, Lakeland, TN 38002
- Who puts it on: Lakeland Elementary School PTA (an official LSS school support organization)
What to expect: A PTA announcement shared in the I Love Lakeland Tennessee Facebook group says about 17 vendors will be there with gifts, boutique items, jewelry, treats, home décor and more. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Proceeds benefit the Lakeland Elementary Angel Tree Fund, which supports children and families in the community during the holidays.
Why it matters: The Holiday Market is a regular Lakeland Elementary PTA fundraiser at the IH Clubhouse. The school calendar listing confirms this year’s date and time. (Older competitor write-ups that floated Nov. 15 or Nov. 17 dates don’t match the current LES calendar.)
Also coming up nearby: The city’s tree lighting and Cookies with Santa is Saturday, Nov. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at IH Managerial Park (same Canada Road address), and Christmas in Lakeland — parade plus drone show — is Saturday, Dec. 12, at The Lake District.
